Wies Enthoven
PWCenter Faculty
After being trained by Linda Metcalf and other PW faculty members for several years, Wies brought Proprioceptive Writing® to the Netherlands and combined it with her experience as a teacher, writer and journalist. In 2016, she established the Amsterdam-based writing studio, ‘Harttaal,’ which loosely translates as ‘‘language of the soul’. There, she employs the PW method to guide participants in refining their talents, developing self-trust, and bringing a new focus into life and work. She works with individuals and in tailor-made programs for corporations and organizations.
She has a Master’s degree in psycholinguistics and has long worked as a freelance journalist for leading Dutch newspapers and magazines. Wies is also the author of the book, Bange Helden (Frightened Heroes), and co-author of The Eldest Daughter Effect.
“I remember reading Writing the Mind Alive by Dr. Linda Trichter Metcalf in one breath during a flight. Afterwards, I wanted nothing more than to meet her and learn more about what she described in such a brilliant way. And learn I did. I was swept off my feet. Every time I start a new workshop, I feel excited to introduce people from my own country and throughout Europe to the liberating effects of PW.”
